Unbound is known to be the absolute premier gravel event in the World, and it’s potentially the most prestigious race in America. More than 4000 participants, and all of the best pro gravel riders in the World. I am the only pro rider from Norway.

My crash in Rule of Three May 21th gave me a fractured wrist and a sore body. The preparations hasn’t been exactly as planned, but with the help of 101percent Training and Elite Performance Chiropractic, we did what we could and I am ready for the 200 miles. The doctor at the hospital already gave me green lights, but I will use a arm brace to support my wrist.
My previous goal was to be top 20, but after the races in Gravel Locos and Rio Grande Gravel I feel strong enough for top 10, and even better on a good day.
The rain is probably for my advantage, and the tougher the race, the better. I pray I’ll stay away from technical issues as Emporia is know for the Flint Hills and lots of punctures.
I am excited, a bit nervous, but I look forward to this race. Finally, after three years of waiting, I’m taking on the World’s premier gravel event!
